Dates for 2024 CLASSES are:

10th April – 26th June (except 8th May, we’ll be at Cober Hill for our Annual Dance Event).

18th September – 11th December (except 23rd October, when we’ll dance at St. Columbas)*please note this date tbc.

We aim to give a warm welcome to everyone who attends our classes, our main object is to have fun.

Kilts are optional and no partner is required, we are very friendly and all dance with each other.

Classes cost £8.00 per session, payable by card on the day or in advance via bank transfer.

Our classes attract dancers of mixed abilities and experience, we welcome new members of any ability.

No special footwear is required, but if you do have dancing ghillies, please use them.

Scottish dancing is energetic and an excellent way to keep fit, so we recommend bringing your own bottle and drinking plenty of water.

The Community Centre is set back a little from Upper Street, between Dansk Florists and St Mary’s churchyard

St Mary’s is a ten minute walk from Angel station (Northern Line) and Highbury and Islington station (Victoria and Moorgate lines). It is roughly opposite the old Post Office at 116 Upper Street.

Buses 4, 19, 30 and 43 stop outside St Mary’s. Buses 38, 56, 73, 341 & 476 stop in Essex Road, a short walk away.
