The Gay Gordons 2022 London Annual Scottish Country Dance & Ceilidh
Our ever popular Ceilidh went with a real bang, we had over 50 people in St Columba’s Church, Lower Hall.
Dancing was to the music of The Caledonian Reelers, our MC Simon Wales did a superb job. We also have to thank the Epping Forrest Pipe Band.
The atmosphere was a warm one and very friendly.
Please come along next year, date to be announced, and help make the evening a special one.

Catering
Due to Covid 19, savoury refreshments are not provided, but we are encouraging people to bring some food or drink to share at the interval.
Raffle
We need raffle prizes, rather than throwing away an unwanted item please bring it to the Ceilidh.
If you have a moment to tell us what you’re bringing let us know by using the contact form below.
Dress code
Kilts and trews can look wonderful, but they are not necessary.
We want everyone to be relaxed and to have fun, so please wear something comfortable.
Please note – soft-soled shoes are required, as it is a sprung, wooden floor and our hosts would not like it damaged.
Accommodation
If you are coming to the Ceilidh and need somewhere to stay in London, or you can offer someone a bed, let us know in the contact form below.

Can we bring alcohol to drink in the interval?
Thanks.
Hi Philip,
Mary’s Centre does not allow alcohol on their premises, but we usually all go to the pub after class.
