NEW CLASSES FOR 2018


Classes continue throughout 2018, every Wednesday at 19:30-21.30hrs hrs in the Sports Hall at St Marys Centre, Islington, N1 2TX

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES ON THE 4th or 11th April

Classes start again on the 18th April at our usual venue

Please note that there will be no class on 9th May as we will be dancing on our Residential Course at Cober Hill, see our Residential Course for details

Our classes attract dancers of mixed abilities and experience, and we welcome new members of any ability.

No special footwear is required, but if you do have dancing ghillies, please use them.

Scottish dancing is energetic and an excellent way to keep fit. You can loose a lot of fluids, so we recommend drinking plenty of water.


Class charges
£8 per class payable on the night.


Where:
St Mary’s Community Centre, Upper Street, Islington N1 2TX is situated to the left of St Mary’s Church on Upper Street.

The Community Centre is set back a little from Upper Street, between Dansk Florists and St Mary’s churchyard

St Mary’s is a ten minute walk from Angel station (Northern Line) and Highbury and Islington station (Victoria and Moorgate lines). It is roughly opposite the old Post Office at 116 Upper Street.

Buses 4, 19, 30 and 43 stop outside St Mary’s. Buses 38, 56, 73, 341 & 476 stop in Essex Road, a short walk away.
