GAY GORDONS AT DUCKIE

2010 has certainly has begun with a bang! The Gay Gordons were on stage at DUCKIE RVT 27th February, entertaining a packed audience at this popular night club. Our Piper Arthur led us on after an introduction by resident host Amy Lame. 6 members did an on stage routine, the highlight being the Highland Fling performed by Roy. We were given rapturous applause and have been invited back to do another show later in the year.

Earlier in the week as part of Camden's LGBT HISTORY MONTH a team gave a demo at Holborn Police Station to the delight ? of the constables.

AGE CONCERN held a tea dance and ceilidh as part of GBLT History Month at Cecil Sharp House, and the Gay Gordons under John's expert calling organised the dancing. Another great event.

During the busy Christmas period the Gay Gordons gave a demonstration and held a Ceilidh at St. George's Hospital Tooting for the the carers and friends and family of those living with HIV/AIDS.

We were also asked to provide an afternoons entertainment of Scottish Country Dancing and music for The Mildmay in Shoreditch. Our Piper Arthur played to the delight of the HIV/AIDS patients and carers, at the hospice and a team of four did some simple 2 couple dances in the day centre.
